I began my professional career working in management and business operations, having the opportunity to live, work and travel back and forth within Honduras and the Cayman Islands.

My executive positions throughout my career have led me to over 20 years of experience being self-motivated and versatile, known for strong leadership and motivational skills that consistently produce positive results. In addition, I am bi-lingual in English and Spanish, I was born in Honduras, and I have a Caymanian connection on grounds of descent as I am a 4th generation descendant of these beautiful islands. While embracing both countries, these journeys have been a blessing and led me to join The Cayman Islands Government in 2005 as an Overseas Government Employee, having the role of serving a country of descent, which has been an honor and an amazing experience. Being the first appointee as a Visa Officer for the Cayman Islands Government, The Department of Immigration-Visa Office in Honduras, I held two Portfolios:

La Ceiba and Roatan, Bay Islands. It is only because I like challenges and have so much self-confidence in my work, that, using my best knowledge, I took on an additional responsibility,

the role of Office Operations Manager. As I pride myself on being extremely professional and respectable, during the course of my new career I became passionate about helping people and I am a true believer in performing highly professionally with integrity and following protocols. After achieving the experience and knowledge of both Business Operations and Government-Immigration, I have also fashioned friendly, professional relationships and business connections. This has inspired me to embark on a new journey to develop my own business venture. One is "Essential Services", Administrative Corporate and Immigration Services. And I wanted it to be about everyone, diplomatic in resolving and providing reliable service and positive results. "In my view, greatness lies in genuine service". That’s why I am passionate, and I aim to continue devoting myself to assisting and serving both countries throughout my career wholeheartedly.

Hi, I’m Shania Norman and I’m bilingual with over 7 years’ experience within the Customer Service Industries. After a highly successful internship, my strong work ethic, attention to details and passion for self-development and interest in both the Immigration and Tourism Industry. I am delighted to join Essential Services as a Virtual Assistant Services/Overseas Agent. I am a native English and Spanish speaker and I have Caymanian connections through 5th generation grounds of descent. It is my goal to work closely with my clients and really get to know each unique business that I work with so that I can provide the best solutions.
